It takes a bit to get your head around the options and what they do but after that wow weeee its good!! only reason it's 4 stars is cause my stupid ass got annoyed about getting your head around part haha

This extension is magnificent. It makes the YouTube experience much more tolerable than Google seems to think is good for you, otherwise they would have added these features themselves. For the most part everything works, but for me, enabling the boost volume makes changing the audio or muting it delayed. This seems to persist even when disabling it and only comes back to normal when refreshing or changing videos.

that's the only instance I personally find really convenient to be able to change video quality since firefox built in player sucks.
