Worked flawlessly for years, didn't for months, was fixed for a few more and now it's dead as a dodo again.
It's a shame because it helps with so many basic QoL (like scrolling audio instead of scrolling away from the video) but it clearly isn't reliable for the foreseeable future. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14640994, 2 years ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by linkinkampf19, 2 years agoAs of 7/22/24, every time I start a video, the option "Automatically expand the videos descriptions" auto tabs multiple times throughout a video, usually within 2-5 seconds of starting playback. It auto highlight the entire description body, and will randomly jump back down once manually scrolling back up. Turning this feature off stops the issue from occurring. Otherwise, this extension has been a necessity for my browsing habits.

cause uBlockOrigin-SponsorBlock segments skip at wrong time.(example: 0:10 - 0:20 is sponsor, SponsorBlock showed 0:10 - 0:20 is sponsor, but it will auto skip from 0:05 to 0:15).

- Rated 3 out of 5by Rodrigo Cavalcanti, 2 years agoI like to enable the "Force the use of standard frame rates formats (24, 25, 30 FPS) instead of high frame rates formats (48, 50, 60 FPS)" feature because it helps me to play 4k video at 2x speed without video stuttering.
But recently this option is forcing 4k and 1080p videos to 480p resolution, disabling any higher resolution. Please try to fix this issue, it's a handy feature. - Rated 5 out of 5by VOIIIXI, 2 years ago

- Rated 2 out of 5by Fixx, 2 years agoAs others have mentioned this is the best addon in this genre but it does not reliably work it seems.
It always works for me in a private window but I have around a 30% success rate when signed in. If I simply clear site data for youtube and remain signed out it works, the second I sign in (and the page reloads) it fails again.
To be clear this isn't "some functionality" is bugged. Its that it seems to be either entirely off or entirely on and I do not know why but it is somehow related to cached site data to a degree.
