I read about this extension in the New York Times and got the impression it has two independent function:

First is to own and manage ethereum cryptocurrency.

Second is to access the so-called Web3.

I have no interest in the cryptocurrency and I have been unable to figure out what, where, or how to access anything that resembles web3.

I've viewed the video three times but it seems to gloss over the web3 part rather quickly.

I've cloned the source and will spend some time studying that.
