About this extension
Right-click any picture on a web page and choose "Show EXIF data". A panel opens right on the page with the camera, lens, shutter speed, aperture, ISO, date taken and GPS location. The file is read inside your browser: nothing is uploaded and no outside website is opened.
WHAT YOU SEE
• Camera body and lens, plus the serial number when the camera stored it.
• Exposure settings with focal length, full-frame equivalent, flash and white balance.
• Date and time taken, including the time zone offset.
• Coordinates in decimal and degrees with altitude and direction, and a clear notice when an image reveals where it was taken.
• Every raw tag in a list you can expand, copied to the clipboard in one click.
FREE, NO LIMIT
Viewing is free for as many images as you like. It reads JPEG and TIFF files. PNG, WebP and HEIC work too when they carry metadata. It also works on links that point to an image file, and the image size, file type and author fields are shown even when a site removed the camera data.
PRO, ONE-TIME $6.99
• Save a clean copy without EXIF, GPS and other metadata before you share it.
• Export the details of one image or a whole page as JSON or CSV.
• Scan all images on a page at once and see which ones carry a location.
Pay once and keep it. No subscription, no account.
PRIVACY
Everything happens on your device. EXIF Viewer only runs when you right-click an image or open its popup. When a picture is stored on another server, the extension asks for access to that one site first, and you can allow all sites in the popup instead. The only data that ever leaves your browser is the email address you enter to buy or restore Pro.
