EXIF Viewer runs only when you right-click an image and choose "Show EXIF data", or when you open its popup. It loads that image and reads its metadata inside your browser. The image and its metadata are never stored or sent anywhere. Clean copies and JSON/CSV exports (Pro) are created on your device and saved through your browser's normal download.

If an image is stored on another server than the page, the extension asks for permission to load images from that site first. You can remove this access at any time.

The only personal data sent anywhere is the email address you enter to buy or restore Pro. It is sent to the developer's license API (lakeside-ext-api.expo.app), which checks it against completed Stripe checkouts, and is stored with the license state in browser storage. Payment is handled by Stripe. No analytics, no tracking.
