Folio for Canvas does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

It connects only to your school's Canvas site and to Instructure's file servers, using the Canvas login already in your browser, to find and download your course files. Files are saved only to folders you choose on your own computer.

Settings (which folder each course uses) and a list of files already downloaded are stored locally in your browser so that files aren't downloaded twice. None of this is sent to the developer or anyone else. There are no analytics, tracking, or advertising.

The optional Mac helper program only saves files into the folders you chose and cannot write anywhere else.
