- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13243477, 8 years agoNow I won't have to switch to another browser :D
Could you also add support for the ability to switch between browser tabs using the mousewheel? That was my most-often used feature in the previous add-on.Developer response
posted 8 years agoYou can change tabs with a wheel gesture. If you mean by scrolling the mouse wheel on the tab strip, then that is not something that is possible to implement anymore. See: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1285812 - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13313662, 8 years agoIt can be a good replacement for Firegestures if it works on empty and option tabs. Gestures works flawlessly.

I want to be able to adapt to the system language to change the extended language。 - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13294092, 8 years ago
- Rated 3 out of 5by stib , 8 years agoThis surpasses FireGestures in some ways, the configuration page is well thought out, and the user scripts option is great. However the context-menu thing on OSX is a dealbreaker at the moment. The whole point of gestures is ease of use, and that doesn't happen if you have the context menu in your way all the time.
I hope the devs can fix it before firegestures stops working. - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 6141590, 8 years agoReally hoping it will be possible to draw gestures on empty tabs or about pages, before ff57 breaks firegestures. Keep up the good work. The configuration menu is very nice. Would like a gesture option for "home" (for some reason gestures aren't working on this particular page either).
- Rated 5 out of 5by tpiom, 8 years agoI've been a FireGestures user for some time and this addon has replaced all of my needs (I only use four commands anyway)
The only thing I'll miss is interacting with pages like about:addons. I see it says that it can't but is that for now or like... ever (as in: 'it just won't work'?)
Anyway!
thank you for this! - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13270182, 8 years agoI've only just installed it but am happy to find a very feature rich webextension to replace Firegestures. I realize there are bugs out of your control, but I am noticing on Mac OS X 10.11 that I do NOT get the context menu as I do a gesture. Perhaps they've already fixed that? Great work, thanks again. Looking forward to living with Foxy Gestures!
- Rated 2 out of 5by Zoidberg, 8 years agoOn some pages the gesture mode seems to activate itself automatically and you keep making one gesture.
Also, I haven't found the option to "roll over" the tabs.Developer response
posted 8 years agoCan you describe your issue on GitHub so I can try to debug it? And what does "roll over" the tabs mean? - Rated 5 out of 5by Diversant_, 8 years agoПрекрасно выполняет свои функции, имеет очень удобный интерфейс для настройки
- Rated 5 out of 5by Speedkore, 8 years agoComing from legacy firegestures too, this is a very good replacement!
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13193937, 8 years agoThis works on frames, gesturefy doesn't. Both are webext compatible and good except for this problem.
- Rated 4 out of 5by kevingoris, 8 years agohad to use the developer beta in nightly 57.
only it wont work on the blank page that i sometime open by mistake.
And wont work on this addons.mozilla.org (and dont know wich else)
Hope there is a work around for these. Developer response
posted 8 years agoIf you are using developer or nightly, please switch to Foxy Gestures beta channel. The settings page in 1.0.6 broke due to some internal changes in Firefox.- Rated 5 out of 5by d4niel_p, 8 years agoThanks for developing this. Any chance for mouse chording gestures? (even right-left click and left-right click for back/forward would be enough).
- Rated 4 out of 5by ethsen, 8 years agoNot a bad replacement for FireGestures. Only issue is it doesn't honor browser.tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrent,FALSE so all new tabs end up opening beside the current tab, not at the end of tab row. Wish it was consistent with the rest of the browser.

posted 8 years agoThere is no WE API to read from about:config settings. Log an issue on GitHub and I can add preference to implement the behaviour you want. - Rated 5 out of 5by Matth, 8 years agoPrevious user of FireGestures after it broke up with latest nightly I tested this one. Really great addon I like it a lot.
Too bad it doesn't work on addons.mozilla.org and new tab page but it's a web extension limitation. (For the later, thankfully, this addon enable you to change your new tab page)
Please note that version 1.0.6 was not saving changes to settings. Installed 1.07 beta and all is good. - Rated 5 out of 5by Eduardo, 8 years agoI was an avid user of the previous gestures extension. Foxy Gestures is a great replacement that works as expected.
I wrote a couple of gestures, so I'm porting them to Foxy Gestures. - Rated 5 out of 5by Alexnader, 8 years agoAll of new mouse gestures extensions are impossible to use, just stubmle into new empty tab and your workflow is ruined. This is unacceptable, usefull extensions is the only reason why I'm using Firefox instead of chrome.
Mozilla is killing their browser. This is extremly sad and heartbreaking. - Rated 5 out of 5by Alexey Murz Korepov, 8 years agoThanks for developing! At now I can't use it in Linux with Right button - issue about this: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1360278
But hope this will be fixed before Firefox 57 release.
