by petra, a year agoGhostery blocks less and less and runs more and more unsecure! the plug-in gets stuck after a firefox crash and hast to be re:installed to run again!
On the other hand it blocks to much, like age popups and the paypal popup to pay something!

Regarding Ghostery getting stuck after a Firefox crash - it could be possible that Firefox leaves a profile in a corrupted state in this case. Your help would be important in trying to reproduce it. We would be happy to help fix the issues you are experiencing!

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14856889, 6 days agoLove Ghostery for ad blocking etc. Unfortunately more and more sites, especially her in the UK are refusing access whilst Ghostery is enabled. Developers need to find a work around for this or we'll be tracked and swamped with ads pretty soon.

I've been using Ghostery for years now and it is by far the most effective adblock I've used. The interface is clean, easy to navigate, and easy to understand (even for those with minimal PC knowledge.) - Rated 3 out of 5by SWRU, a month agoВозможно он и не плохой, просто меня замучило окно "#DistributionPopupDesktopRectangle__e8wewcx9yw75g0gk41cq-PhJvaFd.Root" в этой строке меняется только конец и окно снова пол экрана загораживает, надеялись, что ваша программа поможет - увы нет - ваша программа не блокирует эту строку после обновления страницы она снова появляется с новым "-PhJvg9S.Root" или "-PhJwLZT.Root" учтановка галочки "блокировать похожие" не помогла, а это строка собрана уже более 100 шт. и всё появляется.
