About this extension
🌙 Late at night, you open a page and a wall of white hits your eyes.
Allow access once and it just works, on whichever sites you choose. Two modes cover for each other, so almost any site is comfortable to read.
🌟 Core Features
🌗 Smart mode: Recolors each site's own styles for natural-looking colors, with built-in fixes for over 2,900 popular sites
🔳 Invert mode: Inverts the whole page and restores images and videos; switch to it when a site looks wrong
🧠 No double darkening, no flash: Sites that are already dark stay as they are, and a dark base goes down while pages load
🎚 Adjustable look: Switch presets in one click, or fine-tune brightness and contrast
🎯 Pick where it applies: All sites, all but the ones you exclude, or only the ones you choose; the last asks for access to those sites alone
🖥 Follow your system: Optionally go dark only while your system is in dark mode
⏰ Scheduled dark mode (Pro): Sites turn dark at a set time each day and return to normal when the hours end
📌 Mode and appearance per site (Pro): Give a single site its own mode, brightness, contrast and more
🌅 Warm eye-care tone (Pro): A warm tint makes pages gentler at night
🖤 Pure black and more backgrounds (Pro): A true black background for OLED screens, or one of several hand-picked dark shades
☁ Your own storage: Optionally sync through storage you own — no account, and your data never touches our servers
🌍 Multi-language: Supports English, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese
💡 Use Cases
• Late-night reading: Read articles before bed without a glaring screen
• Long workdays: Keep email and dashboards open all day with less strain on your eyes
• Coding: Switching between technical docs and a dark editor no longer dazzles
• A few sites left as they are: Leave out online banking, design work and the like; everything else goes dark
🛠 How to Use
Built-in browser pages, extension store pages and the PDF viewer can't be darkened.
🔒 Privacy
Page content is processed only on your device, with no analytics. To work out colors, the extension fetches a page's stylesheets and images straight from that site, without your sign-in info; applied only to chosen sites, it asks for access to those alone. Your email and license key are sent only when you upgrade to Pro.
