As of 2026-05-21 on Firefox, the need to login to Ground News every day is required for the extension to function. Annoyingly high friction.

By default, I am unable to log in to the extension despite being authenticated via the browser. You have to manually enable "Access your data for https://extension.ground.news" in about:addons.
