PayPal Honey: Automated Coupons & Rewards by Honey

by Lam, 2 years agoFound out that this extension will replace referral codes with its own, which is especially ridiculous when it doesn't even find coupon codes, but still bad when it does if I actually was referred by another site or streamer. Also found out that stores are allowed to specify which discount codes Honey will show, which basically ruins the point of not needing to search for your own coupon codes.
That isn't to say I never got good coupons, there were times I did, but there were also plenty of times that I found my own better codes elsewhere. When I would try to add these better codes, it also ignored them, which now I know maybe means the store I was on told Honey to keep that code private.

- Rated 1 out of 5by suspicious_rat, 9 days agoi used to use honey a long time ago, back before everything came out about the company, because i thought it would help support the youtubers i liked to watch.
honey is a fraud and a borderline scam. it steals money from affiliate links, money that rightfully belongs to creators.
mozilla PLEASE remove this scammy extension from the firefox browser add-on store. corporate greed like this should not be encouraged!! - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14868001, 9 days agoI don't think I've saved any money with this scam add-on. It only exists to steal affiliate links from youtubers and the like.
