I guess now I don't care about I don't care about cookies. Goodbye! - Rated 1 out of 5by Termy, 2 years agoWas a really great addon, but unfortunately decided to sell out to avast - a company that has everything in mind, but surely not your safety and privacy.
You can use the filterlist of this addon (https://www.i-dont-care-about-cookies.eu/abp/) in ublock or use consent-o-matic instead - Rated 1 out of 5by StillConfusing, 2 years ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Ashleigh, 2 years agoSell to Avast = I say Adieu. :( Also, this is supposedly licensed under GPL 3.0 but the original author says the source code is not public, so it isn't possible to fork.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 17567931, 2 years agoThis was sold to Avast. You should uninstall and instead use Ublock Origin with this project's filterlist.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16080503, 2 years agoThis is sold to Avast, a data harvesting company. I deleted it right after the announcement. Don't give Avast your data!
- Rated 1 out of 5by Tag, 2 years agoThe developer just sold this extension to a huge data harvesting malware company. Don't install it now.
- Rated 1 out of 5by vivid, 2 years agoThis is now owned by avast who are notorious for collecting user data. There are better alternatives out there please look for them.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15097235, 2 years agoWell, it was a good run before Avast bought it. Stay far, far away if you don't like your data being sold. Expect adware and scare-ware as well.
Best solution: add the idontcareaboutcookies filter list to uBlock Origin. No extension required.
Or you can use open-source alternatives:
1. Consent-O-Matic
2. CookieBlock - Rated 1 out of 5by FFuser, 2 years ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by shdev, 2 years agoI would stay away from this addon now that it has been acquired by Avast.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Freddie, 2 years agoA very good add-on unfortunately been acquired by Avast which is concerning for the apps future considering the track record.
