As with another reviewer, I too was worried given all the terrible reviews, but I've had zero issues with this on MacOS 27 Golden Gate. Pretty much works exactly like Safari.

works fine on macos
quite annoying that i have to keep clicking the prompt and entering the code every time i restart the browser
also there's definitely a better way than covering up the browser's default password autofill

doesn't work at all on windows (atleast on firefox based browsers) and isn't even mentioned in the store page description

No longer supported
Whack

This is Apple's definition of doing the bare minimum. This extension is a UX nightmare, while it can technically autofill username/passwords/2FA codes as needed, it leaves so much to be desired in terms of QoL features.

Time to ditch iCloud. They don't care for this product.

It is no longer available to use in Firefox. Only in Chrome or Edge.

I will no longer use Firefox in this case.

«The Passwords extension is not currently available on Firefox for Windows. It is available in Chrome and Edge.» — are you kidding? Why do you release it then?

I was worried to use this after seeing all the negative reviews. I don't understand what happened, this works perfectly for me, exactly the way I'd expect.

Like everything apple designs, a real piece of s**t - only partially usable. Popup will never go away and consistently blocks the password field for any site where there isn't a saved password. Continues to baffle me how bad the engineering and design team is at this joke of a company.

as soon as this plugin is activated, the Firefox native Password Manager is not working any more, i.e. stops suggesting saved credential in the corresponding form fields (only the Apple Password Plugin suggestions appear). on MacOS 26

J'ai voulu tester malgré les 1 étoile. Une fois l’extension installé, j'ai compris instantanément avec un message claire: installable mais pas disponible pour Firefox !?!?.
F you appel!

WINDOWS: Você precisa ter o icloud instalado no PC para conseguir rodar. Funciona sim no firefox. Não sei por que esse aviso aparece quando você tenta logar sem ter o icloud instalado. Se a descrição tivesse uma explicação um pouquinho melhor essa extensão não seria tão mal avaliada...

overall great, but the plugin does make websites like Google Translate extremely slow.
