- Rated 5 out of 5by felipefr, 7 years agoVery nice ideas as I am an almost compulsive Pocket user and certainly like to have more features than just adding a new link. Would like to see recommendations (like in the Chrome add-on), and specially a batch save feature. Overall it's a very welcome addition and I wish you good luck :3

posted 7 years agoThanks for your feedback felipe! Well as for the suggestions, I'm not sure I'll be able to do something about this, at least for now. The batch save feature though might be useful. I'll add this to my "todo list" for one day, even though I already have quite a lot on my plate at this time :) - Rated 5 out of 5by Rykum, 7 years agoI love this addon, since v57 is coming I didn't want to lose old pocket addon feature. I recently reinstalled my OS and that means clean Firefox install and it's awesome. Only thing I'm missing is to see website favicon to easily know what my links will lead me.

posted 7 years agoThanks for the review :) Well I plan on working on this and to be honest I also miss this. It should be one of the features I'll add in a future 1.0 release. You can have a look at the current state of the roadmap here : http://bit.ly/inmypocketroadmap - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13395250, 7 years agoThanks for the extension; I too would love the ability to add a Tag when saving to Pocket. Other than that - Great Work

posted 7 years agoThanks for the feedback. Will work on this someday, currently I'm working on pagination which is much expected by users who store hundreds or thousands or items in pocket. But tagging is another important feature I want to implement, definitely. Developer response
posted 7 years agoHey, thanks for the feedback, although I don't understand what isnot remembered, when you click on what ? Do not hesitate to contact me through the support page.- Rated 4 out of 5by Veltaine, 7 years agoI will withhold a perfect rating until I test it more but as of now. This is exactly what I was hoping th eexisting pocket extension did. Updating to the new firefox browser I noticed the pocket extension disappeared so found this one. I wish I found this sooner.

posted 7 years agoI'm glad this is useful for you. To be honest I'm surprised how many users still managed to keep on using the old addon until now. I hope you're happy with this alternative addon :) - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13156685, 7 years agoI'm very happy with this. Compared to http://getpocket.com/ it's very easy to open a couple of sites in new tabs while also removing them from the list in one shot. Contrary to getpocket.com, it also opens the website directly, and not the getpocket link, which sometimes formats the site very badly.
Some ideas for making it even better:
* Allow to right click and copy links from the drop-down list.
* I love that it's so easy to delete links, but this also might lead to accidentally doing so. Thus it would be cool if one could undo a deletion for a couple of seconds.
* Add an option remove the "Add to pocket" icon from the URL bar.
Thanks for this great add-on! :)Developer response
posted 7 years agoAnd thank you for your review and your great feedback :) I'm glad the addon is helpful to you. Can you drop me a line using the contact form here please (https://pabuisson.wufoo.com/forms/zi5scw41v368kr/), I'd love to hear more about your use case for the 1st suggestion.
As for the 2nd one (accidentally delete a link), you're right, I noticed this as well. I have an idea about how to add this feature in the addon, will need to work on it.
As for the last one (optional url bar icon), you're the second user to make that suggestion these last days, I'll see what I can do :) - Rated 3 out of 5by firefoxtrot, 7 years agoDoes it do something different than the built in button?
I miss the color indicator that lets you know when a page is saved.Developer response
posted 7 years agoTo be honest, I don't undertand your comment. The addon provides a popup listing all pages you have in your pocket list (which is not provided by the integrated "add to pocket" button), and it does color the indicator in the address bar if the page is already saved. - Rated 5 out of 5by calania, 7 years agoI was a bit nervous when I read that old firefox extensions wouldn't work in version 57+ because I am still using the old pocket extensions since in my opinion the build in one is terrible. I was even considering switching to chrome just to get an old pocket like extension but then I found this gem. Works as well as the old extension. Would be nice if there were thumbnails for the websites like in the normal old pocket but that isn't deal breaking. Overall it excellent!

posted 7 years agoHi! Thanks a lot, I'm always really happy to read such positive feedback, and know that my addon is helpful to you. It keeps me motivated to keep on working on it, so thanks a lot!
As for your suggestion : by thumbnail, I guess that you mean the favicon of the websites (icon that you see on the left of Firefox tabs for instance, or in the bookmarks), not an actual thumbnail / screenshot of the page that's been saved? - Rated 5 out of 5by RGhost, 7 years agoI used old Pocket extension and find that its no more updated. I'm glad that I found that extension which will support new versions of FF.
Also author of this extension provided great support of it. Thank you again!Developer response
posted 7 years agoThanks RGhost, I'm glad it's useful to other firefox / pocket users :) - Rated 4 out of 5by iforgotmylogin, 7 years agoIf you can find a way to recreate the best feature of the old app, I'll buy you beer. I miss the ability to add all tabs to readiltater- er, I mean Pocket. IDK whether this is feasible.

posted 7 years agoHey, thanks for the feedback :) You're the first to mention this feature, I remember it, though never used it. I'll add this to the backlog containing all upcoming features, although I've already a lot on my plate and won't develop this immediately. But I'll keep that in mind, thanks! - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13266517, 7 years agoEn iPhone no integrada en Mozilla pero con App aparte funciona bien
- Rated 5 out of 5by Shumone, 7 years agoReally waiting for someone to recreate the Pocket addon like the older one. Thanks a lot for the initiative.
Just, 1. Can U Please make both the icons a little bit dark? Its too light in color.
2. Please update with a facility which closes the saved tab automatically.
Thanks again, Thanks a lot!Developer response
posted 7 years agoThanks for the feedback, I'm glad you find the addon useful. I've updated the icons that were indeed a bit too light, thanks for noticing this. It'll be in the next release of the addon. As for the automatic closing of the saved tab, it's in my todolist, but not for the next releases, I have many basics I'd like to cover beforehand. But it's a common requests for power users, and I do intend to work on this. Thanks again for the feedback :) - Rated 5 out of 5by olee22, 7 years agoThanks, it's really great you work on it! I kept on using the old Pocket add-on, which was great, but I stopped using it due to the lack of multi-process capability. I hope you keep on developing and updating it, it's really a must!

posted 7 years agoThanks for your feedback! I intend to keep on updating this, and especially since there's a real need here. - Rated 5 out of 5by SgtChrischi, 7 years agoReally awesome, thank you!
But I'm missing one option: close current tab after adding a site to pocket (like it was in original addon).
EDIT: Yeah, thank you, that would be awesome. :)Developer response
posted 7 years agoHey, thanks for your feedback and suggestion. I've added an "Automations" ticket on the roadmap, I think I may do this once I'll have dealt with basic features. But those are interesting features I didn't use in the old addon at all, so thanks for bringing them to my attention :) - Rated 5 out of 5by zaphod_42, 7 years agoJust great to use Pocket like I did it for years - and you enlarged the headlines, thanks a lot for it!
- Rated 5 out of 5by Daniel Rozenberg, 7 years agoI too have been importing the ancient .xpi add-on for the longest time now, I'm glad you took the initiative!
- Rated 5 out of 5by vallovic, 7 years agoAs someone who still had the old XPI hanging around to install whenever it was needed, it was with great pleasure that I've found this awesome alternative. Beautiful and totally functional for my type of usage, totally recommend it to anyone who uses Pocket! :D

posted 7 years agoThat's exactly the reason why I build this addon, so I'm glad it's useful to you :) Developer response
posted 7 years agoWell... indeed. I'm sorry this is such an important need for you and that it's not fullfilled. I must say I've no idea how I'd deal with this kind of feature. I keep it in a corner of my mind but definitely, that's a feature that I'll keep for later work, when basic stuff will have been dealt with. Thanks for the suggestion!- Rated 3 out of 5by Adritz, 7 years ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Kocane, 7 years agoMuch improvement over the built-in one. It's a minor thing, but any chance for a toolbar icon that has the same color as the default icon? (as per nightly 56, anyway).
