Was mir prinzipiell nicht gefällt bei einem derart sensiblen Thema, ist, dass eine Einzelperson so etwas bereitstellen kann, ohne dass Mozilla hier irgendeine Security-Qualitätssicherung gewährleistet. In meinen Augen absoluter Wahnsinn.
Dem Autor möchte ich hier nichts unterstellen, aber gerade Einzelkämpfer können leicht manche Sicherheitslücken übersehen.
Die Lösung ist super und ich wäre glücklich, wenn Keepass das offiziell übernehmen würde! - Rated 3 out of 5by webdevsuperfast, 7 years agoI am using Firefox v58 beta 13 and it occasionally disconnects with KeepassXC v2.2.4 and also it displays an annoying message/information below browser viewport when filling out passwords.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13593003, 7 years agoIt seems everytime I reboot my machine and relaunch Firefox, I need to re-associate the plugin with KeePass, which makes this less than desirable from my POV. Still better than a web-based approach, but I wish I knew why it kept breaking.

- Rated 3 out of 5by agsteele, 7 years agoThe ChromeIPass extension (on which this is based) generally lists all the user/password pairs connected to a domain behind the extension icon. This is useful but doesn't seem to occur with the extension in its current version.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13361955, 7 years agoHow should I use it with multiple profiles, that all should share the same passwords via KeePassHttp-Connector, but have otherwise different browser settings?
Each time I click on Connect, it creates a new connection-key in KeePass, for each profile – the existing connection-key from other profiles in KeePass are not recognized and giving the new key the same name as the existing one, a dialogue opens "Overwrite existing key?" with question "A shared encryption-key with the name "KeePassHttpConnection" already exists. Do you want to overwrite it?".
Doing so now deletes the previously set connection in my other profile.
What to do?Developer response

posted 7 years agowhen you enter a username and password and submit the form, the icon will flash red, and if you click it, it should give you an option to save the username/password to the database.
