LHC Beam Mode Monitor by kadlec

A tiny extension that monitors and displays the CERN LHC Beam Status on its badge.
It can also optionally show real-time notifications upon beam mode changes, including special notifications when stable beams are reached or when the beam is dumped, with optional sound alerts.

The extension receives the beam status information from CMS OMS (https://cmsoms.cern.ch/), and updates every 15 seconds.
The extension re-uses the browser's session token for the CERN single sign-on to access the OMS page. The add-on serves no functionality if you have no credentials to access this site.
The extension can send a notification if the OMS page becomes unreachable.
