About this extension
Stop retyping your CV into every job application. LocalApply saves your details once and fills application forms in one click: name, contact details, address, links, salary expectation, availability and your CV. You stay in control: review the form and press Submit yourself.

What it fills
  • Name, email, phone (including country-code pickers), address and date of birth
  • LinkedIn, GitHub, Xing and portfolio links
  • Salary expectation, notice period, earliest start date and years of experience
  • Work authorisation, visa sponsorship and relocation questions
  • Current job title, employer and education
  • CV and cover letter uploads, and cover letter text

Why job seekers use it
  • Apply faster. The repetitive part of an application is done in one click, so your time goes into the questions that matter.
  • Keep your data private. Your profile stays in Firefox on your computer. No account, no server, no AI service, no tracking.
  • Apply in any language. Recognises form labels in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese and Polish.
  • Answer each question once. Save your answer to a recurring question like "How did you hear about us?" and it is filled in next time.

Where it works

Greenhouse, Ashby, Personio, Recruitee, Teamtailor and ordinary company career pages, with site-specific handling for Workday, Lever, SmartRecruiters, SAP SuccessFactors and LinkedIn Easy Apply.

How to use it
  1. Enter your details once on the profile page.
  2. Open a job application and click the LocalApply toolbar button, press Alt+Shift+F, or use the Fill application button shown on supported job sites.
  3. Check the result. Filled fields are outlined in green; required questions it could not answer are outlined in amber and listed so you can finish them.

Safe by design
  • Never presses Submit or Next, and never ticks consent boxes.
  • Leaves fields you have already filled in alone.
  • Export your profile to a file, or delete everything with one click.

Why it needs access to all websites

Job applications are hosted on thousands of employer and recruiting sites, often inside embedded frames, so LocalApply must be able to fill forms on any page. It fills a form only when you ask it to; on known job sites it also checks whether an application form is open, so it can show its Fill button. It makes no network requests.
