- Rated 2 out of 5by KnOwlEdge, 5 years agoThanks for the time, but it is almost useless.
It can only read selected text, not whole pages, and it can't skip back and forward, it can only be paused and stopped, and only with on screen buttons.
Not practical. - Rated 2 out of 5by shasta, 7 years agoWell I finally figured it out. First, why the heck are there no directions in any place that any logical person would look. Second, the Save button ? Doesn't work as far as I can tell but maybe it works but you have to run your head and turn 10 times counterclockwise but with no directions there's no way to know what it's intended use is. Third, I have it working but I can only get Zira to work. I have all English voices downloaded including British ones. No clue how to make it do the other voices. I know this is done as a labor of love but why publish it only to frustrate the hordes. *sigh*

and It shows the voices in Red "x"
Have you updated this addon yet?......
----- Aaaa!!! Now I just saw this Line in your description: <<<< IF YOU ARE ON FF56 or Waterfox download the old version 0.5.3 >>>
You should write it with capital and bold Letters for people to see it.
--- But hey, it says that this version 0.5.3 is not compatible with my New firefox.
Anyway, I am going to uninstall it. You lost my time trying to figure this out alone. If you fix the version in the future, I might install it again. For now I am going to try other similar Addons. - Rated 2 out of 5by bodwyn, 7 years agoWin 10, FF67. Once I figured out to right-click selected text, I can get it to work, and it uses my chosen system voice, but the option to change speed doesn't work (same for pitch and volume).
