Neo makes X/Twitter calm again. Hide the ads, trends, and Grok buttons, mute what you don’t want to see, and give your feed a look that’s easy on the eyes. Free, private, and one click to undo.

ONE CLICK TO A CALMER FEED
Pick Balanced, Focus, or Minimal and X tidies itself up right away. Change any switch you like, and pause Neo whenever you want to see X as usual. A live preview shows what each setting does before you open X.

HIDE WHAT GETS IN THE WAY
• Ads and promoted posts
• Trends, “What’s happening”, and Today’s News
• Grok, Premium upsells, and “Who to follow”
• Reposts and like, repost, and view counts, if you’d rather not see them
• Any sidebar button, or a whole sidebar
• Open Home on Following instead of For you, and pick your reply order

MUTE WORDS AND ACCOUNTS
Mute words, phrases, and accounts: spoilers, giveaways, topics you’re tired of. Matching posts fold into a small note with a Reveal button, or disappear completely. It all happens in your browser, so nobody is muted or notified on X.

SAVE VIDEOS
A download button appears next to Share on posts with a video or GIF. Choose a quality, or set one once and skip the menu, and Chrome saves the MP4 to your Downloads folder.

EASY ON THE EYES
Light, Dim, and Midnight themes, text from 13 to 20 px, and your choice of timeline width and post spacing.

SEE WHERE ACCOUNTS ARE BASED (OPTIONAL)
Show X’s own “Account based in” label next to names, in profile cards, or both. Then, for regions you choose:
• Hide their posts behind a note with Reveal and Block buttons
• Preview who would be blocked, without blocking anyone
• Or let Neo block them for you: at most 30 an hour, after you confirm, never your own account, and by default never people you follow
X estimates these regions and can be wrong; Neo never guesses one. All of this is off until you turn it on, and blocks are real blocks on X that stay if you remove Neo.

SEE THE TIME YOU GOT BACK
Neo counts the ads and posts it hid and estimates the time you saved, for this session and all time. The counts stay on your device.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account, no sign-up, no tracking, no ads
• Your settings stay in your browser and are never sent to us
• One required permission (storage); saving videos asks for Chrome’s downloads permission the first time
• Region lookups, blocks, and video downloads go straight to X, and only when you use them

GOOD TO KNOW
Works on the X website on desktop, in any of X’s languages, and Neo itself speaks 44 languages. Back up your setup to a file, and undo presets, imports, and resets. X changes often; if something stops working, choose Report a problem in Neo.
