- Rated 4 out of 5by Be Pa-Ro, 2 years agoSuper outil ! Great tool !
Efficient and well integrated.
2 issues: no security protection (would love a touchID (on macoS) validation for using passwords) and it should keep less "history" of passwords not yet saved into the base. It gathers passwords from every website crossed and you have to "delete" them explicitly each time… There should be a timer of some sort (store them for 1h for example) so it gives you time to save them after using them but not too much it can be a liability. - Rated 4 out of 5by zexon, 2 years agoTL;DR - Very good for entering passwords stored securely in your own Nextcloud instance, but doesn't integrate well with login fields on web pages.
Pros:
* Integrates very easily with the Passwords app for Nextcloud.
* Creates and stores secure passwords.
* Easy to set up.
Cons:
* Doesn't integrate with username or password fields. You have to click the extension to find existing passwords or generate new ones.
* It identifies new logins, but it puts them in a "Collected" tab where you have to manually save them.
* I sometimes find it easier to add a password manually in my Nextcloud.
I'm going to rate this a 4/5, because while the cons are somewhat annoying, they aren't a deal breaker. I still feel more in control of my password collection via Nextcloud and this extension than I have with basically any other password management system. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 17800657, 2 years agoI like it very muc and use it regularly. But my biggest concern is: How can this be secure, without a master password?

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 15456856, 4 years ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by flawlol, 5 years agoIts a good app, but sadly, I found 2 issues.
The first one: Once I enabled the dark mode, I cant disable. No matter i pressed the checkbox 50x, nothing happens.
The second one, which one is worse, is that, I cant login into account, if I have 2FA enabled. It would be amazing if I could use it with 2FA enabled :/
But still, Its a great app! - Rated 4 out of 5by R Green, 5 years agoExactly what was needed! Would like to see some more options exposed.
- Rated 4 out of 5by AnRkey, 5 years agoTo the Developer, thanks for all your hard work. The plugin works well. I have a question though, are you considering adding a secure password generator like Lastpass has? Anyhow, thanks again!

- Rated 4 out of 5by kapcom01, 5 years agoExcellent addon. The search feature is great. I have also Nextcloud Passwords app on Android and my life is easier :) I rated it with 4 stars instead of 5 because sometimes it gets out of sync with the server and I have to click the sync button and wait about 1 minute. Not a big problem though. Thanks.

Appreciate a lot your dedicated work. Thanks.
One thing I miss : when the notification about the discovery of a new password is gone (or missed), it would be great to be able to retrieve it and to store it afterwards (through desktop notification or temporary history). What do you think ?
Keep up the good work and all the best for 2020. - Rated 4 out of 5by Gremgoll, 5 years agoGeniales Addon für eine geniale Nextcloud App - ich bin begeistert.
(wie z.B. beim Firefox eigenen Passwort-Manager) - Rated 4 out of 5by Gabi, 6 years agogreat addon, easy to use.
to copy passwords, I would add a pin for security reasons
later edit : in case of sites with subdomains, it mix passwords. As example for site: name.com The extension sees the same password like for site: sudomain1.name.com and the same pass for subdomain2.name.com and the same for name.com - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14971297, 6 years agoDa mein Kritikpunkt geändert wurde, wird die Bewertung natürlich erhöht.
Schade.]Developer response
posted 6 years agoHi. (Siehe: https://github.com/marius-wieschollek/passwords-webextension/issues/28) - Rated 4 out of 5by Jan Busk, 6 years agoEn trevlig lösenordshanterare.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Oztranet, 6 years agoEin Sicherheitskritischer Punkt den ich wirklich für wichtig erachte:
In der Appconfig sollte man ein Master-Passwort festlegen können, das den Zugang über die hinterlegten Nextcloud-Daten (z.B. beim Öffnen von Firefox) gewährt - und wenn es nur 3 Zeichen sind... Ansonsten besteht nämlich die Möglichkeit Firefox zu stehlen und somit einfach alle Passwörter zu nutzen, ohne dass der Bestohlene es merken würde.
Ansonsten funktioniert die App aber einwandfrei! - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14052748, 6 years agoIl serait judicieux d'enfin supporté le Totp, car c'est ce que passman proposait que vous ne proposez pas, et personnelement sans cette fonction je passe mon chemin (ca et le support du two step authentication que j'ai activé sur mon server)
