by Rex Gildo, a year agoGreat app that works as intended. Surprisingly extensive list of customizable features such as programmable schedule and multiple modes which allow the user to adjust settings like brightness, contrast, warmth, etc. Overall, the app is easy to use and does exactly what it says.

- Rated 1 out of 5by parv, 9 days agoyou need to pay nine dollars a year or a one-time purchase of 40 to use. They do not make it clear at all on the download page that you will be required to pay to use it after the free trial. They claim that you can use it for free on 5 websites but the free version does not work in my experience. It works well and I would be willing to pay if the one-time purchase cost less or if they were forthcoming in the price.

- Rated 4 out of 5by John S, 23 days agoNight Eye is ideal for evening meetings etc. With multiple widows and screens, it often happens that meeting-related activity outside the meeting window will cause sharp changes in light intensity - leaving you a bit dazzled and others on the meeting distracted by the brightness shifts in your tile or reflections in your glasses. It's so much easier on the eyes. I'd love to see an upgrade that compensates better for the variation in website design, but I love it anyway.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Raptor, 24 days agoThe dark mode browser extension for Mozilla Firefox is an absolute game-changer! It seamlessly transforms every website into a sleek, eye-friendly interface that's perfect for late-night browsing. Not only does it reduce eye strain, but it also gives every page a polished, modern look. Easy to use and highly customizable, this extension is a must-have for anyone who values both comfort and style. Five stars all the way!

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13611860, 3 months agodoesn't include contrast/brightness controls like the chrome version does. confirmed both on version 5.2.7. not sure if it's a limitation of firefox, but it's not as customizable as the chromium version
- Rated 5 out of 5by xyzzy, 4 months agoWorks really well. I like that the default can be set to either light or dark mode and sites can be managed as exceptions to the default.
