After the first day of installs the captions are forced on again. This isn't disabling captions. I am back to turning them off every time I start my browser, same as if this is not installed. Also, the pinned icon is invisible in the toolbar until I hover over the blank space where the icon should be visible wo hovering.

Redirects to creator's website on install advertising other services and "AI" chat nonsense. Creates popups occasionally begging for reviews. Technically does what it says, but not worth the spam.

It makes subtitles invisible rather than disables them in a proper way. Which is not what is being promised. Useless for me, but if you really don't care for captions in any situation, might be fine for you.

Is there an add on to remove burned in captions?

Works great, no more auto captions !!! Genuinely been a nuisance to me for years, was about to make my own extension before I saw this one.
