by Firefox user 18208303, 3 years agoVery Helpful. Series of Tabs/Screens that need to be opened daily - makes this quick & easy. I also lost all tabs - a years worth! Reached out to OneTab Support. With their suggestions & some creativity - I did not give up - took a bit of work but was able to restore ALL. I have since learned to use Export to back up my list - not ideal but better than gone. I now DISABLE OneTab BEFORE ALL FIREFOX UPDATES - so far this has resolved the loss issue [also not ideal but for me worth it] Looking thru some other reviews most of the issues I see are easily resolved. [For the record - I am not great with Tech by any definition - but can follow instruction if motivated]

I've used this extension for the past 3 years, and it's been really helpful for an ADHD person like me who always has 1000 tabs open at once, condensing everything into one tab. But lately, there's been a bug that the extension is not working like it used to. Now it collapses the tabs, but one or two tabs remain displayed, even if you select the OneTab button again and again. And now it's only sending 1 or 2 tabs...I hope the creators can fix the bug. - Rated 1 out of 5by Goofy3696, 4 days agoWhen I right click on a link in the One Tab list and select open in new window, it fails to do it. Instead, the app just sends me to the other browser window I have open. Lastly, the link I clicked on, does not open.

Please could you add support for Firefox Containers? - Rated 1 out of 5by Ryogen, 2 months ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by BuenJ, 3 months agoI've been using OneTab daily for a long time without a problem, however since the last couple of updates I've experienced a complete wipeout of all my saved tabs twice. It seems that every time that the extension is updated, all saved tabs get wiped.
Many other users are reporting the exact same issue, however the response from the development team so far has been denial, blaming users, firefox, privacy software, etc.
Clearly something is broken, be cautious when using this extension and make sure to backup your tabs regularly (specially before applying updates). - Rated 1 out of 5by AG, 3 months agoIf my hard drive space drops below 10gb all my OneTab data wipes. It's happened twice.
There will not be a third attempt.Developer response
posted 3 months agoHi, we've checked the Firefox source code, and Firefox will not evict any OneTab data due to low disk space.
The problem is probably that you are running some kind of privacy cleaner or system cleaner software which is trying to evict Firefox data, and is wiping extension data (including OneTab) at the same time. 'BleachBit' and 'Advanced SystemCare' are known to do this. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19045605, 3 months agoFirefox Donot even try! Once it is activated there is noway to get back to your original tab layout unless you have backed up Firefox! I was able to get it back because I also using Simple Tag Groups and was able to restore over 1600 tabs using the Simple Tab Groups backup/restore.

posted 3 months agoHi, you can do what you're describing.
By default, if you use Firefox tab groups, then each tab group will be stored separately, and can be restored separately.
If you want to store a whole window full of tab groups, and have the entire window restore at once with all of the tab groups inside, then you can do this by going to OneTab Options and choosing the "Send the current window to OneTab, including all tabs and tab groups" option.
