- Rated 3 out of 5by Wysocki, 6 years agoWas pretty excited about getting a replacement for Tab Groups for Firefox. However, I just installed this on a new install of FF and it appears to be a bit flaky. There are tabs that appear and disappear by themselves. Will update my review if I can figure out what's going on, but for now, it's not ready for primetime.
EDIT: FYI I tried to import tabs from my other computer that has Tab Groups installed. When I tried to import tabgroups-prefs-20180809-153817.json I got a message saying "INVALID FILE". - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14208268, 6 years agoAgain like the last review my installation was working and then suddenly failed - Tab groups vanished leaving one empty tab group with no means to restore.
I actually would upgrade to 5 stars if this extension would work as its really massively helpful way to deal with tabs and organising projects. I hope the developer has the will to work on a fix soon! - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14196684, 6 years agoI installed the add-on as a substitute for TabGroups. Initially it worked fine. Not quite as convenient as TabGroups was but absolutely fine for the start. But then all the groupings I created disappeared. Opening the overview showed 1 tabgroup and not a single tab. I deactivated the add-on and all my hidden tabs reappeared. After enabling the addon again (or deleting and installing it even), the overview does not open anymore. Neither clicking on it nor the shortcut do anything. I use the most recent version of FF (just check for updates). Once provided with a solution I will move up my review to 4 stars.
Great features to add would be the following: Going to a tab outside the current tab group by typing in the address bar = search mechanism, moving tabs more easily without needing to go into the overview, - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14185317, 6 years ago
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14176350, 6 years agoThis is the current best effort of replacing panorama functionality. However, it still crashes once in a blue moon when I simply click a tab and all the groups disappear and all the tabs collapse back into the current view. Can't seem to reproduce this bug but already happened to more than once.
While most important functionality has been implemented it's still not very comfortable creating new groups and the development seems to have stalled in the last couple of months. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14158557, 6 years agoGreat way to view you tabs quick. Alot better than flicking through all of them one by one. The only thing it needs is a quick key
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13561396, 6 years agoVery good! But please add custom shortcuts in settings!
- Rated 5 out of 5by Daktyl, 6 years agoThis extension was one of the first to provide tab grouping after Firefox 57, and it simply does just that. It doesn't try to get fancy, and it doesn't break. The perfect type of addon imo.

- Rated 5 out of 5by ZTHawk, 6 years agoCould you make the shortcuts customizable please?
Also the "Panorama View" tab should be closed automatically once the overview is left. Otherwise the "PV" tab will be listed in hidden tabs list. - Rated 4 out of 5by Filipe Bernardo, 6 years agoPanorama View the best replacement for the retired "Tab Groups" feature on Firefox, which is the best tab management system ever. It's a part of my daily workflow. So far I rate 4 stars just for the effort and continuing this priceless add-on on Firefox Quantum, however there are two essential features from the old "Tab Groups" that are still lacking:
* search mechanism to bring forward tabs on Panorama View.
* context menu to move tabs between groups without opening Panorama View. - Rated 4 out of 5by Nicolas Göddel, 6 years agoWorks good so far but it should not include the pinned tabs in the groups. They should be either added automatically to their own "Pinned Tabs" group or completely be ignored in the Panorama View.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14094384, 7 years agoExtremely missed functionality in firefox. Lets me group up tabs however I want. It eventually bugs out and I lose tabs in the panorama view and can't open certain groups until I restart firefox.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14076938, 7 years agoExtension has been working great until today. I found myself unable to close a new tab from the Panorama view and then I realized that the Panorama view didn't include two tabs I'd opened this morning. I restarted FF to see if that fixed the problem, but after restart nothing happens when I click the Panorama icon. I also tried the shortcut keys and neither Ctrl+Shift+F or Alt+W is working. I assume the extension is loaded as I'm only seeing a fraction of the 70 tabs (according to the Panorama addon page) I currently have open. I upgraded to FF 60.0.1 last week and I didn't have any issues at the time of upgrade. The browser has probably been restarted a couple times since, not counting this morning.
Despite the hiccup today I really, really love this addon.
Edit: I disabled and re-enabled the addon and that fixed the problem. - Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 14069354, 7 years agoCan't import tab groups from legacy Tab Groups add-on.
- I exported the tab groups into a json file using the legacy Tab Groups add-on.
- Copied the json file to a different computer running Panorama View.
- Then selected the json file from Panorama's "browse file" import prompt.
File was selected but there's no "import" button to complete the process. What am I missing?
Otherwise working good. - Rated 5 out of 5by postcards, 7 years agoThis addon replaces Tab groups addon. While Tab groups was like 900KB (almost 1 megabyte) Panorama is only 32 KB. I had to manually enable extensions.webextensions.tabhide.enabled in about:config for it to actually hide tabs, which is the main function.

I cried for days after Tab Group died... You've made my day ! - Rated 5 out of 5by Ricky, 7 years agoUsing this and Tree Style Tabs means you'll never have trouble keeping your tabs organised, no matter how many hundreds you might want open at any one time. Fantastic add-on, and a worthy successor to pre-Quantum Tab Groups.
