- Rated 4 out of 5by Bryan, a month agoFantastic add-on. It's probably due to a browser update but the add-on icon no longer adapts to your browser's themes, which is an unfortunate thing as a dark mode user (the icon is black and barely visible).
- Rated 4 out of 5by Bhisma Rizqi, 3 months agoThis is a good panoramic group tab. It can change color according to settings. But this needs to be fixed, the icon can't change color when in dark mode. And I think you need to develop it, so that when the browser is closed and reopened the tab groups are still there like in other browsers, so that makes this extension more impressive. I hope you can fix it soon. Best regard.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 15310981, a year agogreat, but groups don't sync between browsers and cant find where the extension saves its autosaves which would be great so I can sync it myself through a symlink and icloud.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Lee, 4 years agoWorks perfectly, and in my opinion is a better solution to tab grouping than the one found in Chromium based browsers. I do have several ideas to make this a lot better; a better UI, the ability to drag groups around by clicking in any open space in a group, selecting multiple tabs and moving them, and auto group resizing.

- Rated 4 out of 5by umurcan, 5 years agoOverall very good and useful. But for some reason it loads the cpu (energy impact is high on task manager), while just reading a single page and not doing any tab switching. Had to disable because of that. May not bother people on desktops
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 5902571, 5 years agoI loved tab groups before Firefox 56 nixed them, and this has been a great substitute for the functionality. Very useful in organizing tabs when I'm working on different things at once.
There are some occasional bugs though, such as "ghost" tabs that won't close in Panorama View and tabs not appearing in a tab group.
But despite the bugs, super useful for managing multiple tabs and would recommend. - Rated 4 out of 5by Yoshimano, 6 years agoLove it, thanks for keeping this feature alive! Too bad the latest updates prevents from using customized shortcuts though

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 12339208, 6 years agoI can't express how happy the discovery has made me that someone has re-established the proper panorama tab group functionality that Mozilla scrapped with the damn Quantum update. The "simple tab groups" add-on is a poor substitute if you've been spoilt with the panorama style.
Photodiode is a bloody legend. They've even gone so far as to improve the stability of the group 'boxes' themselves, allowing you to move and re-organise everything a lot more easily without all your groups automatically resizing themselves like the old inbuilt tab group system worked. My only gripe is that when there are so many tabs in a group that the tab icons have to shrink to all fit, they lose the page title information (showing only the flavicon) and the 'close tab' cross icon, meaning you have to open the tab or resize the group in order to remove tabs. I'd love it if in a future update the cross and title could be retained, no matter how small the tabs have to be shrunk. Even the first few letters of a title are a huge help in identifying what each tab is, and would make this already great add-on even better. - Rated 4 out of 5by chuntaro, 6 years agoI like keyboard only operation.
What should I do after pressing Ctrl+Shift+F? - Rated 4 out of 5by Zacha01, 6 years ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 6997422, 6 years agoThe add-on has been very useful for me, I would like it to be able to hide fixed tabs and I have presented problems with a tab that has a reproduction notification and this tab is not hidden.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13705501, 6 years agoAlmost as good a Tab Groups. This is bringing back so much functionality that was lost in the leap to Firefox Quantum.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13720798, 6 years agoThis is a sorely needed add-on and I am grateful that it is in development. I had been holding off coming back to Firefox after the Tab Groups add-on was unable to function with the Quantum version of FF. Even though I am now on board with FFQ I do have a few things in my wishlist:
1. when changing tab groups Panorama View always opens the rightmost tab, I order my tab usage from Left to Right and would like the ability to select which end tab PV opens on a Group change.
2. I have to use a separate add-on to have PV not change windows when I close the last tab on the right, my thought is this should be incorporated in PV.
3. A method of moving a tab from one group to another group via a right click on the tab, at the moment a move to a new window is available but not what I had in mind as far as the work I do.
4. Perhaps display the name of the tab group on the navigation toolbar instead of just the icon. (added 11/28/18)
With that being said I feel PV is very useful and it does fill the void for me. The functioning of it in it's current state is quite good and seems stable. I have nothing but praise for the effort on this project, keep up the good work. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14400245, 6 years agoCan you please add keyboard shortcuts? If they're already present, can you document them? Thanks!
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14178812, 7 years agoIf all goes well this is a magnificent add-on. One can group tabs and easily switch between them. Very nice.
However when firefox or windows crashes the add-on sometimes cannot restore the groups. You end up with lots of tabs and one empty group. Restoring a backup (do make them) is not always working as expected. The tabs and groups are loaded but in a second firefox window. If this 2nd window is closed before the other firefox window you again lose all groups.
But even with this (big) problem I will keep using it. - Rated 4 out of 5by Resonant Flux, 7 years agoWorks great, but there is one bug and one particular feature that I find missing to complete the experience:
- The default group 'bubble' covers the location of a new 'bubble' when you click on 'create new group', took me a couple of minutes of clicking to realize it was just obstructed and not broken
- Automatically creating a new group when you drag a thumbnail outside of its current group.
Other than that, works like a charm :) - Rated 4 out of 5by Filipe Bernardo, 7 years agoPanorama View the best replacement for the retired "Tab Groups" feature on Firefox, which is the best tab management system ever. It's a part of my daily workflow. So far I rate 4 stars just for the effort and continuing this priceless add-on on Firefox Quantum, however there are two essential features from the old "Tab Groups" that are still lacking:
* search mechanism to bring forward tabs on Panorama View.
* context menu to move tabs between groups without opening Panorama View. - Rated 4 out of 5by Nicolas Göddel, 7 years agoWorks good so far but it should not include the pinned tabs in the groups. They should be either added automatically to their own "Pinned Tabs" group or completely be ignored in the Panorama View.
