The first item I tried to search for (an Xbox controller) came up with a redirect to a shady eBay listing for obviously fake Xbox controllers.
According to developer, the add-on will show alternatives if it can't find a direct match. I think the add-on might benefit from a clearer differentiator aside from changing a header.

The add-on seems to run slow, taking between 15-40 seconds to appear after loading a product page. I think the add-on would benefit from opening its window instantly and loading products as it can get them so that the user is not left questioning whether it is working or not.

I could see myself using this if the performance is improved.

Peel does not show any counterfeit or bootleg products, every product comes from verified stores. Instead, in cases where Peel can't find a better deal, we’ll still show alternatives (like similar models or bundles) so users aren’t left with nothing to compare. You'll notice the title will change from "Best Matches" to "Alternatives Found" when that happens.

Also, we just fixed an issue where Firefox users weren’t being redirected properly when clicking offer links. That should be resolved in the latest version.
