Developer response
posted 2 years agoThat sounds odd. Can you explain a bit further how the lock function isn't working? What Firefox version are you using? Do you have any other extensions installed, and if so, could you try disabling them to see if there are any incompatibilities by any chance?

Best I've found? YES
Name a password manager, and I've probably used it for personal use or as an IT Systems and Solutions Engineer. Proton Pass has been the best one by a wide margin.
Any difficulties I've faced while using the Proton Pass extension can usually be traced back to the target website or app and how it's built/configured, and not to a problem with Proton Pass itself.
There is still room for improvement, particularly around security key integration, but I've encountered far fewer headaches with Proton Pass and its Firefox extension than with any other password manager.
Also, if past updates are any indication, I definitely remain hopeful that it will continue to get better. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17543244, 5 days ago
