by Peter, 2 years agoIt is a great password manager. As a long-time ProtonMail user, I've migrated from the built-in Firefox password manager to this as soon as I saw it :)
On the other hand, the product is not (yet) perfect, there are some areas where it could be improved:
- automatically locking the vaults after a certain time.
- passwords weren't filled in in basic authentication popups created by the browser which is a bit inconvenient sometimes
- the difference of the Proton Plus vs Unlimited feature sets feels a bit too big (at least supporting more than 1 vault would be nice in the Proton Plus edition). Vault sharing does not make do much sense when there is only one vault available.

- Rated 4 out of 5by TechnoJunkie, 10 hours agoExtension is always updated very late for Firefox. 1.32.2 has been available in the Chrome Webstore since July 2, 2025. Here in the Firefox Add-On Store still the old one from June 5, 2025. I still have problems on many pages that the automatic filling does not work. I have reported these pages to Proton, but nothing happens.

- Rated 5 out of 5by kokomieko, 3 days agoI am so beyond glad that this add-on exists! It's been working like a charm! 3 of my favorite things about this add-on
- the pop-up add-on window itself is the perfect size, which is especially commendable because there is nearly no functionality lost due to being crammed into a small box
- I love that I can add, update, and edit my Passes anywhere and anytime, without having to get into the Pass app
- it's easy to open up the Pass web app from the extension, though I haven't found myself needing to since downloading the add-on
Honestly, I already love the Proton system, and if this add-on didn't exist, I would never know I needed it. And there's the point of it all - you'll never know just how much you needed this little add-on until you use it!
Seriously, use it. It makes life so much easier!

Integrated alias generation is so sleek and handy.
Would be nice if it worked on reddit though. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 19099529, 6 days ago
