by Gotz, a year agoThe subscription plan is very poorly thought out, I have the "mail plus" subscription and if I want unlimited proton pass I have to take "proton unlimited" which is a price difference that makes no sense.
The free version is much too restricted.
There are also a lot of bugs: the fields are filled in but the validate/connect button does not activate, or refuses to connect.
It also lacks many functions, the "check up" of weak passwords for example does not exist, the sorting functions are more than limited, all this is too basic.
In short, it's too expensive and it's too limited.
I wanted to switch from Firefox manager to proton pass and finally I backtracked.
I love proton mail but there is still a lot of work to be done to make proton pass a premier password manager.

posted a year agoThank you for sharing your feedback with us! A password strength indicator is currently available on Android and iOS, and it's on our roadmap for the extension as well. Moreover, having two active subscriptions under the same account is not supported. If the Unlimited plan doesn't fit your needs, a possible workaround is having two Plus accounts - one for Proton Mail and another one for Pass.
Please let us know what sorting options you're missing, as well as which validate/connect button you're referring to, in an update to your review.

- Rated 4 out of 5by SpiritGrid, 8 hours agoProton Pass har existed under two years and it has already come a long way. With the addition of file attachments arriving soon it can replace my 1Password subscription completely.
I don't like the PIN-login though, I would prefer to use my Proton Password or Windows Hello. - Rated 5 out of 5by bild96, 10 hours agoIf it's possible to format the note to accept READ.me format type ( bold text ..etc, it will be awesome

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 16500687, 3 days agoProton as a whole has been an incredible saviour since signing up with them a couple of years ago. Proton Pass is a fantastic tool to use across Desktop and mobile devices, browsers and dedicated app. All work seamlessly for me and I no longer fear forgetting a password!
The Firefox plugin and ability to autofill on a web page is slick and just works, it saves time and effort dipping in and out of a web browser especially on a mobile device to get a password. Great Job Proton! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13997839, 3 days ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by notisln, 4 days agoIt works almost perfectly. There are a few websited though, in which only the username/email gets filled in and not the password so I have to copy and paste it but it's not a big deal.
