- Rated 5 out of 5by Ashley, 2 years agoProton pass is a good password manager tool. It doesn't have many of the bells and whistles that other pass managers have. The autofill is a little buggy right now but manageable. It is still new and will improve over time. The encrypted password generation & storage is sufficient for my needs.
On desktop, it is simply a browser extension. You can store your accounts, generate strong passwords (up to 64 characters), and lock 🔐 it. It contains a simple Note section, and CC login storage. Separate Authentication Apps and physical security keys are also supported for more login security.
Edit (7/28/2024): I feel like this pass manager has gotten better. They now have dark web monitoring for emails and secure link sharing for info in the manager. So of the autofill is still buggy, but still hoping this will improve over time. I love the email aliasing features and the manager lets you know if you are reusing passwords and if you have weak passwords. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14721231, 2 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18011719, 2 years agoI've been apart of the proton eco-system for about 2 years now and have enjoyed most of their products. THIS was a huge time saver to have all my logins in one central place. It's quick to setup and easy to import from other providers.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Gabarito, 2 years agoWhen I imported my passwords, I made a mistake and can't delete default vault to start over the importing process. I already have communicated it to Proton Team 6 months ago, but it seems that they did not solve the problem. It happens using free account. I hope, someone is reading this and could add this to todo list. Thanks.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Vesa, 2 years agoI am a heavy user of Proton's products but I still was positively surprised: the app is quite neat, clutter-free and works fluently on both Firefox and iOS. The real-world safety is also taken into account, you can lock the browser extension with a pin code which gives an additional layer of security in case someone steals and runs you laptop from a café terrace when working.
