Great update, much more usable, a ton of voices!

You absolutely must uninstall it straight away after the update!!! Data leech!!!

I’ve been using it for ages. It’s now collecting massive amounts of data that aren’t necessary. Why on earth would a text-to-speech service need to know which websites I usually visit?

totally stopped working after the update

I've been using this extension/add-on for a long time. It's had its ups and downs, but as of today after I was prompted to update it on mobile, it stopped working completely

Multiple permissions requests were added recently, with the most recent one being especially egregious. Requesting access to browsing history and personally identifiable information? No explanation. Website link does not link to source code to inspect the changes.

I am uninstalling. Too suspicious for me.

App is usually great but new version isn't working Ive had to reinstall the previous version, im sure the dev will fix it

Speed is painfully slow, please add 2x speed

My eyesight is deteriorating and I have found Read Aloud to be a lifeline because it is simple to use, unlike a couple of the more sophisticated/complex key command driven tools that require frequent practising to memorize the commands.
While there are sometimes mispronunciations of known words, the usefulness of the tool far outweighs any disadvantages.
Also, while selecting the voice, I didn't come across any accents that could be identified as truly Canadian, but I have managed to find one that is fairly close.

WORST voices ever! You can't listen to this! AND it's not free either now.
