by Michael1990, a month agoOne of the best extensions ever lmao, only issue is that websites maintain the original words briefly before changing to the new one when the page fully loads. Also i don't understand people who say this extension and Dark Reader slow down Firefox, mine works ok, unless these extensions freeze FF when they have loads of tabs or webapps open?
Edit: Left old version on purpose, but now i see what the issue is; yes, this extension slows FF down, it's not catasthrophically bad, but it does cause lag and non responsiveness even with relatively little tabs, including text fields. I'm using it alongside The Dark Reader extension active, and yes, the slowdown is kinda bad, but in my case i don't get much slowdowns with JUST Dark Reader active, but only with both DR and this extension. Sorry, i'll lower the rating to 4 stars only because it's genius and hilarious, and i love the example texts you put LMAO, you're amazing devs, but for what little it does, it's unbelievable it slows down FF so badly to be noticeable, specially considering how more complex extensions such as Adguard do way more than this one, yet that one doesn't cause FF to freeze.

- Rated 3 out of 5by IndigoGollum, 3 years agoIt breaks where a word you want to replace is part of a longer word. For example, replacing "car" wiþ "cat" gets you words like "catd" and "Catl" instead of "card" and "Carl". I tried fixing it by adding a space to eiðer end of every term I want to replace, but spaces are automatically replaced. Also, trying to replace a word wiþ two words, one of which is ðe original word, causes it to continue replacing ðe original word in ðe new phrase until you disable ðe extension. I tried to replace "tension" wiþ "sexual tension" and got ðis when a website tried to talk about a browser extension. https://imgur.com/n0jIVv0
