Select text in any text box and click the Reword button that appears next to it, or right-click → Reword → Polish. The text is replaced with the improved version. Press Ctrl+Z to undo.

Reword detects where you're typing and uses the right format automatically:

• Google Chat, Slack and WhatsApp: correct bold and italic syntax
• Gmail, Outlook and other mail apps: a proper email with greeting and sign-off
• GitHub and GitLab: Markdown
• Redmine: Textile or Markdown, detected from your Redmine site
• Everything else: clean plain text

In the Reword window you can also write an email with a subject line, copied as rich text for Gmail or Outlook.

• Log in with OpenRouter: one login for Gemini, GPT, Claude, Grok and hundreds of other models, including free ones
• Or use your own API key for Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude or xAI Grok

• Auto-paste: text you just copied is already in the box when you open Reword

Reword has no servers and collects no analytics. Your text goes directly from your browser to the AI provider you choose, and only when you ask for a rewrite. Keys and settings stay in your browser. See the Privacy Policy on this page for details.

An AI provider account is required. OpenRouter and Google Gemini offer free options; paid models are billed by the provider you choose, not by Reword.
