I'm really glad they added the ability to scale videos to prevent clipping, but the setting doesn't work for YouTube or Invidious as of October 2026 :(

Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention!

We have completely overhauled the video scaling engine in version 1.3 specifically to fix this issue. Rotated videos on both YouTube (including standard view, Theater Mode, Shorts, and Fullscreen) and Invidious now dynamically scale to match the player container with zero clipping.

We also moved the on-video button to the top-left with auto-hide and added a right-click context menu so you can rotate without opening the popup.

Please update to v1.3 once it’s live and let us know how it works for you.

Useful, but I wish the website would resize when rotated by 90/270 degrees, which is very useful on displaying a long content (e.g. long block of text)

Hello! Good news, this feature is NOW available!

In the extension popup, make sure the "Auto-fit Screen" toggle is turned on. When you rotate by 90° or 270°, it automatically resizes and reflows text and webpage layouts to fit your display with full scroll support for long content.

Hope this helps make your reading experience much better!
