- Rated 5 out of 5by RTJ008, 3 years agoi've been with these guys since 2015/12/26 and haven't looked back since...these guys work hard to provide a quality (VPN) service (which is practically a requirement nowadays). regarding VPN.AC, what resonated with me was their honest, straightforward answers as i reached out to them early on. they even taught me a little networking and showed me a simple, yet effective method to prevent data leaking outside the Local Network if VPN connection is lost; at the time, "kill-switches" weren't even being used by any other VPN providers. (very few were even talking about it publicly). if memory serves, VPN.AC implemented their "kill-switch" on their (windows) VPN.AC app before the other guys started reporting that they now had a kill switch. also, at the time, they were one of very few (maybe the only?) who were implementing Elliptic Curve Cryptography and may have been THE ONLY ones who were using Koblitz curves (as opposed to NIST/SECG/(NSA) curves). they didn't try to sell me their services which, in turn, sold me on them && their services lol to this day, they pass on knowledge whenever i bug them about it lol. don't get me wrong, they're professional and clearly knowledgable; however, they don't treat me so much like a customer...moreso: simply another human being navigating the experience of life. thank you to all at VPN.AC; specifically: big ups to A.F. for everything you''ve done for me over the years. i appreciate you!
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17051758, 3 years agoExcellent ! It is a very nice and efficient workaround: no need to use the VPN as a whole but just on FF. Speed is good, stability as well. When you live in a heavily censored country like PRC, this addon is a lifeline...

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15327883, 6 years agoThis is an excellent and functional add-on. It adds value to overall VPN.ac service by providing additional options to VPN.ac users. To those who complain about it not being free, find out what it is before you rate. I am a new user and just want to say thank you VPN.ac.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14600329, 6 years agoThis has to be one of the best VPN's I've seen! Other VPN's always showed DNS leaks with certain ISP's, but this one truly hides my IP address and keeps my computer safe from prying eyes. Now, it seems some people are upset that they have to pay for an active account, but the thing is, this isn't just a browser add-on. The add-on is really for their active customers, and it's mainly for browsing convenience. Their actual app that you download can do much more, but this add-on is still really amazing!
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14413133, 6 years agoTo all complainers - read first, before installing, or posting misleading comments! I have been using this service for many years now. And I rarely give anyone 5 star reviews anymore. These guys deserve it. Yes, you have to pay for an active account, but you really get your money's worth. I rarely needed support, but if I did, it was almost instant! And NO, I wasn't paid for this review!!
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13964358, 7 years agoGreat, Reliable.
I've been using this VPN service for a year. This is the best and most thoughtful VPN services I have ever used, and I use it on a daily basis. The VPN service and this addon just works as they promised. Simply, Fast, and Reliable. Love it. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13801775, 7 years ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by novellus, 7 years agoI don't understand why there is quite a few reviewes giving this product a low review due to the need of an active account. The description does state that this is not a free service. For me atleast, this addon works great and I don't notice any performance issues. And it does work, it makes me happy that to know that its working whenever I sign into my accounts and I have to authorize my account due to the ip coming from a different state. Anyway this is a great product and I do recommend this if you already have the paid account.

posted 7 years agoThanks. Some people post reviews without bothering to read a short and clear description. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13476955, 7 years agoI have a paid VPN.AC subscription in the US.
This secured proxy is awesome! It connects almost instantly and surprisingly has very little if any affect on my download speeds. I'm on Google Fiber and using my 8yr old wired desktop PC, I still routinely clock in at 660+mbps down and 350+mbps up. I use it mainly on my home network
When I need to travel with my laptop PC, I'll use their paid VPN through their VPN client (which works great too).
And the support has been excellent. Any questions I've had have been answered and resolved very quickly (24-48hrs).
If you already have a paid subscription, give this a shot. I love it.
