Shomer does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data.

No telemetry, analytics or accounts. Shomer makes no network requests of its own; its filter lists are bundled with the extension.

Stored locally on your device only: your settings and filters, per-site choices, the third-party domains Shomer has learned to block (with the sites they were seen tracking you on), and simple counters. Per-tab statistics are kept in session storage and discarded when the browser closes.

Shomer observes the requests your browser makes and reads the pages you visit only to block ads and trackers; this happens entirely inside your browser.

Delete learned data in Dashboard → Trackers → "Forget learned trackers"; uninstalling erases everything.

Shomer adds the Global Privacy Control (Sec-GPC: 1) and Do Not Track (DNT: 1) headers to your requests; this can be turned off in the dashboard.
