Shut privacy policy. Full version: https://shutprivacy.com/privacy

Shut is made by Atremo Studios LLC.

What stays on your computer: your list of private details, your settings, and a random install ID are saved in your browser's extension storage on your device. They are never sent to us or anyone else, and removing Shut deletes them.

How pages are read: to cover private details, Shut reads the text of the pages you open, inside your browser. Page text, browsing history, and what you type are never sent anywhere.

The free version sends nothing over the internet.

Shut Pro: activating Pro sends your license key and the random install ID to https://shutprivacy.com to check the license, and the extension repeats this about once a day. Pro is sold through Lemon Squeezy, which handles the payment; we never see your card details. We keep the purchase email, order number, license key, and the install ID of the browser the key is active in, only to run licensing and answer support requests.
