About this extension
Simple Site Blocker helps you reduce distractions by applying rules to websites and selected content.
Features
Privacy and limitations
Rules and settings are stored in your Firefox profile. The developer does not receive your browsing history, block list, or matched transcript text.
The extension needs access to webpages to apply the rules you configure. Optional advanced YouTube retrieval can make direct requests to YouTube only after you enable the feature and grant the required permissions. These requests may include the current video URL or ID and your normal YouTube session cookies. YouTube receives those requests, not the extension developer.
Optional bug reports may include technical details only with your consent. The extension opens an email draft and does not send reports automatically.
Filtering depends on each website's structure and the availability of captions. It cannot guarantee detection on every website or video. The settings password protects the extension's settings interface, but it cannot prevent someone with control of Firefox from disabling or uninstalling the extension through the browser.
