Had to disable this extension because it causes RAM usage to spike over 100% and crashes the entire system. Avoid this until the issue is fixed.

UNUSABLE ON FIREFOX! Uses all of my computer's RAM and crashes it. The developers say to use Chrome instead, making it sound like they don't intend on fixing the Firefox extension.

Was very useful before the recent update. Now completely unusable, consuming 99% of my RAM from a single tab.

Good extension when it works, but recent updates have made performance absolutely abysmal and nearly unusable.

Caused major problems on my computer, leading to computer stalling, only resolution was to manually shutdown my computer. Couldn't even kill the program. This happened three times. Tried reinstalling the extension, restarting my computer, but no resolution. Cannot bug report since I think they forgot to pay for whatever service they use to collect the reports. Uninstalled this extension and now everything is fine.

Unfortunately had to cancel my subscription since switching to the firefox version. It does not work with it being unable to get past the prompt for log in.

The extension can't connect to my profile and I keeps prompting for login but everytime I click login the website shows I'm logged in.

So useful, but lags my computer to a complete stop. How can this be optimized to fill plaintext into job applications? It's already selling my data to advertisers, can they at least fix the resource hogging.

Tried several different ways but Simplify just didn't connect to my profile. No other extensions were enabled on the browser, restarted browser and pc several times, tried re-logging into simplify to no avail... Complete waste of time

This extension is so painfully slow that it ends up wasting more of your time than if you hadn’t used it at all. Truly frustrating.

My browser just starts lagging and sometimes just hangs up when trying to use the extension. Unusable. Its a shame because i was looking forward to using it.

I used to use this extension, but it now has horrible performance on Firefox. It sucks up all resources and freezes the entire browser when a page is loading. You know how normally when a page is loading, you can still click on other tabs and the browser will respond? Not with Simplify! I've seen faster browsing on a Core 2 Duo.

I know this extension used to work well. I think something changed in a recent update. Hopefully this is fixed soon, but I know firefox users are usually not a priority demographic.

The add-on is lagging my firefox (macbook m1)

This add-on has started lagging my browser (Ubuntu 22.04, FF Dev 131.0b8). It doesn't happen at first, and takes several hours before it appears, but each page reload will begin taking longer and longer before it's absolutely unbearable. Took some time to narrow down which extension was doing it, but of course - it's Simplify.

This is not the first time I've had issues with this extension, and I'm beginning to get a little annoyed! I forgot what happened originally since I'm re-posting a new review, but I do remember that they fixed it soon after my last review.

Please fix this soon, as I won't be running Copilot anymore until it is.

Good addon. Revising the review now that I'm finally using it more. The idea is really quite sound - and the execution is close to what I want. But it still has a lot of edge cases, and I think that's going to take the most time to figure out.

For example, it can identify that certain major job boards have an embedded field somewhere, but sometimes it fails or the embedded area is really small. I mostly want the extension to have that floating scrolling box to follow me around - but not just in that one embedded space. It would be nice to be able to quickly copy/paste out of that area, regardless of the size/position of that embedded space.
Also, if the job board isn't detected or supported - the manual copy paste feature doesn't appear at all. 30% of websites are like this. Simplify is a really cool idea - it just needs to be more generally applicable rather than trying to one-click 70% of job boards.
