Tab Renamer runs in your browser. It saves the names you give to tabs together with the page address, your optional tab icon (emoji or color), your Pro rules and settings. This data is stored only in the browser's extension storage and is never sent to the developer or anyone else. Exports are JSON files created in your browser.

Without "Keep names", the extension changes a tab only when you click its icon, use its keyboard shortcut or its context menu there. The optional "Keep names after reload and restart" setting asks for access to all websites: a small script then runs on every page you open, compares the address with your saved names and rules, and sets the title. It does not read or store page content. You can switch it off in the popup or the options.

The only personal data is the email address you enter to buy or restore Pro. It is sent to the developer's license API (lakeside-ext-api.expo.app), which checks it against completed Stripe checkouts, and is stored with the license state in browser storage. Payment is handled by Stripe. No analytics, no tracking.
