- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 18203091, a year agoThis appears to be working quite well. Since it requires using the space bar to expand, it would be great if it didn't enter the space as quite a lot of webforms won't allow that space in the field.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Burretploof, 2 years agoIt does what it's supposed to overall, but when it replaces text with an emoji, it adds a line break after it, even if the macro is just the emoji.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 17367627, 3 years agoWorks well sometimes but other times in case of using "eml" to "user@email.com" the output will be "user@gmail.comeml". Also it does not work in the address bar in Firefox, not sure if that is a limitation of Firefox but that would be a nice feature.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Lemons22, 7 years agoCould have been great...but a couple bugs severely hurt the experience. This addon is all about saving small amounts of time, a few seconds at most, so when it doesn't work it's defeating its entire purpose. Too many times I type my shortcut and hit space...and it doesn't work. I backspace and hit space again...doesn't work again. Try for a 3rd time...FINALLY it works. In the end I would have saved more time if I had simply typed out the whole word I was trying to shortcut.
Another issue is that sometimes the addon will randomly jump to a new line after doing a shortcut. So between that and simply failing altogether using this addon is actually rather stressful...I never know if it will work correctly or not and this failure rate is quite high...I'd say at least 5%.
So all in all the idea is really great, and the addon works for the most part which is why I will keep using it, but the 5% of the time where it fails me is really REALLY annoying.
