- Rated 5 out of 5by Cyberknight, 2 years agoEasy to use and does exactly what I expected it to do, marks text, no fuss, no complications. The fact that it doesn't save the markings is an advantage most of the time, because I don't have to worry about forgetting clearing Pages that I'll probably never visit again (what would surely clutter browser memory uselessly.) When I need to keep something, I do the obvious, I copy the text to a file, which I can access off-line any time.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Alan Kuan, 2 years agoI like the design of adding tiny flags beside the scroll bar.
However, it would be better if this add-on saves the marks. - Rated 5 out of 5by Nicolas, 3 years agoThe best highlighter add-on I've seen so far. It's not save-able (maybe a future option?) but it's great for one-time use, to keep my place on a long page when I come back to it.

- Rated 5 out of 5by MalariaViruZ, 4 years agoDer Textmarker funktioniert einwandfrei. Lediglich die Farben müssen bei Bedarf in den Einstellungen freigeschaltet werden. Dies könnte auch per default vom Entwickler aktiviert werden (non-default Settings: "Chose color for highlighting in the Context Menu.").

- Rated 5 out of 5by Feyawen, 5 years agoNearly perfect. Does exactly what you expect. Highlight text, pick a color, done. Even the side arrows are clickable to take you right back to the highlight on the page. Fantastic. If I could make a feature request that would make it perfect. When I'm highlighting and release the mouse button, a small popup near the mouse that just shows the colors would be a huge time saver for documents that I want to put many highlights in before screenshots. Thank you.

How to self-assign the Hotkey for highlighting: see bottom of linked page
https://www.guidingtech.com/customize-keyboard-shortcuts-firefox/
For archiving, the highlights ARE PRESERVED if saving a local copy of the page with "Save Page WE" add-on.
One request: being able to assign a keyboard shortcut for highlighting myself. - Rated 5 out of 5by Aftab, 6 years ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by ArioSuren, 6 years agoPerfect. Even better than the version for pre-Quantum. It does what it's supposed to, and the only one of its kind.
Please don't stop updating this for future Firefox versions. - Rated 5 out of 5by Bento de Espinosa, 6 years agoVery good! Especially because it does not save the highlights, which is something I do not need.
I only wish the colors would be a bit stronger, like a real text marker. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14346878, 7 years ago

AMAZING WORK @ Developer - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14049434, 7 years agoTo solve the F9 issue until the next update, you can disable the reader view: open the about:config page via the location/address bar. Click "I'll be careful" to continue. And set "reader.parse-on-load.enabled" to false.
