- Rated 5 out of 5by phma, 4 hours agoI use the non-automatic page translation tool — That's to say if I need to translate a web page, I click [mylanguage] in the TWP toolbar button and the page is translated.
Is there a way to reset the page translation when the URL changes?
Example: To read an article on example.com, I click to translate the page. Then, after reading, I navigate to a different page (still on example.com), and the new page is automatically translated. I’d like the new page not to be automatically translated — I want it to reset in its original language.
I know this is a non-standard request, but would it be possible to have this choice via a checkbox in the settings?

Thanks for the reply!
I already had that option set to “No.”
I just tried again and realized I had misunderstood the "issue".
Actually, the site doesn't revert to its original language when I use the Back button (when I go back one page). I guess that's normal.
In the end, I have to refresh the page after using the Back button. That works for me.
Thanks for the quick reply!Developer response
posted 2 hours agoWhat you're asking for is the extension's default behavior. Depending on how the site is built, the behavior may be different.
Check if the option "Automatically translate when clicking on a link that takes you to the same domain as the current site" is disabled. - Rated 1 out of 5by Dani, 5 hours agoOver time, it got worse and worse, so that today it is practically unusable on most sites where I really need it, such as the web interface of Telegram and WhatsApp, where it translates absolutely nothing, does not respond to my requests to translate something. Also, the use of Google's translation services has resulted in the translation being extremely inaccurate in most situations for languages outside the imperial zone of NATO countries.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Virtpunk, 2 days agoYes, it stopped working for me too. I completely forgot that I changed the translation service to Bing a long time ago. Now I changed it to Google, and it is the only one that works. And Yandex and Bing both do not work. If possible, please fix it.

- Rated 1 out of 5by CorgiButt, 4 days agoNo longer working. I hope the dev fixes it because this is the best translate tool out there. Will change my rating if they do.
Every other translation extension opens new tabs or popups, this just directly translates onto the page, no need for refresh or anything.Developer response
posted 4 days agoTry restarting your browser. Which translation service are you using? - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13140755, 4 days agoIt no longer works since the last Firefox update (153.0.4).
I have tested all the translation tools available (Bing, Google, Yandex).
My preferred translation tool is Google.
Translating selected text works. Translating the entire page does not work.
The tool’s window says ‘Page translated into German’, but the page is not translated.Developer response

- Rated 4 out of 5by Xav, 18 days agoGreat extension, would you make it available for Safari?
A nice improvement would be the possibility to switch easier the translation from one languge to another. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 20022895, 18 days ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by FieryOx, 20 days agoGod bless this TWP extension for saving me the trouble of having to go out of my way to right click and translate each text. It can automatically carry out the translation on any webpage for the most part without you needing to go through selecting a text.
- Rated 5 out of 5by zzyzzx, 22 days agoLooked at a bunch of different translation extensions and this is the only one that is lightweight, unintrusive, not based on a third party LLM, and still powerful enough to dynamically inline translate webpages. Honestly better than Firefox's native implementation.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 20027266, a month agoThey accidentally made "choose a language" option, choose what language it's translated TO, rather than from. So any page that has an English word, or a word that also happens to be in the English dictionary, cannot be translated by this.
