There is an actively maintained fork, but it is not available in the add-ons store.

BUT, lately it started acting weird.
Currently Live Followed Channels aren't properly being loaded anymore.
So I clicked the Log Out button to try and fix it.
Sadly its stuck logged out, but it still thinks I'm logged in.
Console says: db.deauthorize doesnt exist. Something like that.
A button somewhere to delete all cloud storage settings of this addon would be great, so I could reset all settings.
Thank you. - Rated 3 out of 5by Andralon, 6 years agoIt's an ok app.
compared to all other available twitch apps i would have to give it 5 stars.
the twitch speech bubble symbol looks kinda cute
alarm sound / reminder still doesn't work though - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14079717, 7 years agoI really like the idea of the extension and the functionality. Unfortunately this extension causes my fire fox to freeze so I have disabled it for now.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13380358, 7 years agoIt shows none of the channels that I favorite until I add any random channel when I open the browser. This also prevents it from informing me if they are online. I'm not using the Twitch log in function because I don't trust any third party with my credentials.
To elaborate: I have three channels I have faved. It even shows that they are there in the settings, because the option to remove them is there. If I close the browser and reopen it my faves are no longer populated. If I search for any random channel and favorite it they all show up in the favorites tab again.Developer response
posted 7 years agoCan you elaborate on this first issue? I can't recreate this right now, so maybe it will be resolved in the next update.
You're free to not use the Twitch log in feature, however do be aware that the only glimpse Twitch Fox gets of your credentials is an access token that can only be used by Twitch Fox and can be revoked by you at any time; it's not like it stores your username and password.
Edit: So, to favorite a channel, you must follow it first. Are your non-favorited followed channels showing up fine? When you say you search for a random channel and favorite it, do you mean you follow it and then favorite it? The distinction is important when I try to investigate the cause of this issue. - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13377720, 7 years agoNice Addon, I used it a lot. BUT with new Update, where did the livestreamer option go? This was the main reason for me to use this addon. Did I overlook something???
Additionally all my local stored favorits are gone with the new update...not so amused :(
But its a really nice Addon if you move all the functions from the old version to the new one. New Style looks great.Developer response
posted 7 years agoThe Livestreamer support is gone until I can get it working again. The old implementation heavily relied on low-level parts of Add-on SDK that may or may not be possible using WebExtensions. But I will try my best to get it working again, because it was also one of my favorite features.
I'm going to try to add backwards compatibility with old stored favorites. I apologize for them being gone in the meantime.
I plan on adding back most of the old features. I updated the add-on not as an "upgrade" but rather to save it from the removal of legacy add-on support that is happening very soon. And thanks for the UI feedback! Developer response
posted 7 years agoAre there any specific changes I could make to improve your opinion of it? Some various issues I plan on addressing were compiled nicely by X-Looper here: https://github.com/Hunter5000/twitch-fox/issues/1
If you have any other issues or suggestions, please let me know. The primary reason for the last update was to ensure lasting Firefox compatibility, so some features previously present are sadly not yet implemented.
