I found something in reddit that works folks:
For any browser with ublock origin, even fenix,

Add above link to userResourcesLocation in uBlock origin's advance settings , then add
youtube.com##+js(disable-pageview-api)
filter to "My filters".

It actually used to annoy me at first bc I had a habit of clicking the power button to black out and pause sus videos whenever I needed to talk to someone and this would just let it play. lol.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Lolicon Scholar, 3 months agoMy only issue is that there is no "next video" or "previous video", I don't mind the lack of progress bar but I cannot use this without skipping videos which I don't want to listen to. Tried everything including using other extensions, nothing worked. Please add this option.
