by 16Media16, 6 years agoAnt Video Downloader used to work really well to download videos from a variety of websites but in the last 2 years it has become so unreliable that the majority of videos will either fail during the download or download in extremely low quality when they appear in full HD on screen. Sometimes if you keep refreshing the page and re-attempting the failed downloads they will eventually work. This makes it very frustrating to use and difficult to download videos so not sure what happened to it. For anyone looking for a solution that works, Download Helper seems to do the job and reliably download videos from all the sites that used to work with Ant but now do not.

posted 6 years agoPlease note that your problems could be also related to improved way of streaming at majority of websites or newly added unsupported media streaming protocol.

- Rated 3 out of 5by djdanby, a year agoMacht was es soll. Auch auf diversen anderen Seiten neben Youtube. Allerdings ist bei manchen Websites nicht ersichtlich ob es sich bei der Datei die man herunterladen möchte um Audio oder Video Material handelt. Oft lädt man eine Datei die dann keinen Ton hat, oder eine Datei die nur Ton ist, aber keinen Videoinhalt hat. Hier sollte noch nachgebessert werden.
