- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 12955352, 3 years agoReally love the quick navigation via 'f'.
Unfortunately this doesn't support buttons with javascript events. This is a bit of a big problem since even on basic sites like duckduckgo it does not function as expected.
Would also be great to have an off by default or global enable/disable options. - Rated 4 out of 5by lexsilentium, 3 years agoFEATURE: please add "visual mode", to interract with text fragments.
Also, please add markint to "ajax" buttons
BUG: Also, in some cases it does not mark some links. Just try to use "f" on this page

Although, pressing F6 twice breaks the add-on, until the page is reloaded - Rated 4 out of 5by Cosmic_Annihilation, 5 years agoGreat idea but there's an annoyance with this. It'd be a great addition to have a list of sites where this addon is always disabled. E.g. the default shortcuts interfere with Youtube's own and it needs to be manually disabled on each youtube open tab. Otherwise it's a great addon.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 15233995, 6 years agoit will be perfect if the UI can be customized.
- Rated 4 out of 5by cassepipe, 6 years agoGreat extension. The menu when you type in ":" is a bit invasive though. Vimium solution seems to work best. ALthough I get a weird message about loading default settings when I launch firefox ...

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14134647, 7 years agoEmulates vim as well as most other vim extensions. Lightweight. No option for regex in search?

- Rated 4 out of 5by Richard Pearse, 7 years agoIt's fine. Actually, this is a bug report.
Vim-Vixen is not disabled entirely after Shift-Esc, needing, instead, for the Vim-Vixen to be disabled by opening about:addons and disabling vim-vixen there.
One example. Open a page in the online latex site "overleaf.com". If I want to use the vim interpreter built into overleaf.com, first clicking 'shift-esc' to disable Vim-vixen is not enough. Some keys, like Ctrl-[, are STILL modified, so overleaf.com does NOT work without vim-vixen disabled via about:addons.
If a plugin has a key stroke to toggle its on/off state, then, when the addon claims to be 'off', inactive, it should REALLY be 'off', inactive. - Rated 4 out of 5by Alexey, 7 years agoHi, thanks for your extension, it is good, but I cannot use it. At least just now.
I recently get updated to Firefox 57 and lost VimFX extension. So, my experience with your extension contradicts with my previous experience - it is the reason why I can't just use your extension.
Here you can find some feedback from me: suggestions, positive and negative comments
* I'm using Tree Style Tab and used to K as go to the next tab to the bottom and J as go to the previous tab to the top (like j is go down and k is go up in vim). But here J is go up and K is go down. Really confusing me. (UPD: I found how to change default keybindings, will try to solve this problem)
* This extension doesn't work until the page is not loaded fully and also doesn't work on default Firefox pages (like new tab). I guess it is a problem of plugin API of new Firefox, but in any case it is sad.
* f to start following the links in the page: in VimFX I had possibility to select between opening tab in current tab and opening tab in a new tab (f and F respectively). Moreover, opening a link in a new tab in VimFX creates a sub-tree in Tree Style Tab, but not in your extension.
* Hotkey for opening help at any time would be useful (something like '?' for example)
* Nice Ctrl+U and Ctrl+D hotkeys!
* "console" is a nice feature! - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13582018, 7 years agoIn fact this add-on is good enough, especially the JSON customized key map. Just one thing: pls make the movement, like j,k,h,l, as SMOOTH MOVEMENT, as well as Ctrl-B, Ctrl-D ! Otherwise it is a bit dizzy when browsing.... Thanks. 还是很好用的。
Another suggestion: if you go to google.com and press "f", there will be a label on the input field. But after you click according to the label you still can not input to that field. this is something you can improve. thanks. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 11080780, 7 years ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13536300, 7 years agoSome sites react weirdly to vim-vixen (e.g. my site: fsf.moe) and it's not possible to enter an input field like in vimperator. But it's still the best vim-like addon..^^
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13503190, 7 years agoReally like it. If I could find a way to temporarily disable it, for when I edit text in a box not recognized as a text box, it would be about perfect.
