This release adds a settings popup, makes the sidebar shortcut typing-aware, and lets you choose your own shortcut.
New
- Customizable shortcut — click the shortcut keycaps in the popup header and press a new combination. A modifier (Ctrl/Cmd or Alt) is required so normal typing doesn’t trigger it. Press Esc or click away to cancel.
- Ignore while typing — new toggle, off by default. When enabled, the shortcut won’t toggle the sidebar while the message composer or another editable field is focused. Useful if you use Ctrl/Cmd + B for bold.
- WhatsApp-style toolbar popup — official WhatsApp background artwork, chat-bubble settings card, green switch, info tooltip, and compact shortcut keycaps.
- Settings are saved automatically and sync with your browser profile when sync is enabled.
- Shortcut changes apply immediately without reloading WhatsApp Web.
- The popup automatically follows the system light/dark theme.
Fixes and improvements
- The shortcut now works while the WhatsApp message box is focused when Ignore while typing is off.
- When the setting is on, WhatsApp’s own typing shortcuts, including bold, are left untouched.
- Custom shortcuts match modifiers exactly — Ctrl+Shift+B and Ctrl+B are distinct.
- Improved editable-field detection for inputs, textareas, selects, role="textbox", and contenteditable elements.

1.0.1 Fixed:
- Toggle sometimes did nothing. WhatsApp Web loads under two different page structures — the extension now handles both.

No new features, no behavior changes.
