The Xensam browser extension is provided by Xensam AB as part of the Xensam SAM Suite.

The extension accesses the URL of the active browser tab for the purpose of identifying and measuring web application usage. The extension passes this information to the Xearch agent installed on the same device. The extension does not independently transmit this information to Xensam or any other external party.

The Xensam browser extension is intended to be deployed by organizations using the Xensam SAM Suite. Where information processed through the extension constitutes personal data, Xensam processes that data on behalf of the relevant customer and in accordance with the customer’s instructions.

The customer determines the purposes for which the Xensam service is deployed and is responsible for providing appropriate information to its users and establishing an appropriate legal basis for the processing.

Xensam processes such personal data in accordance with its Data Processing Agreement with the customer and applicable data protection law.
