Using Firefox: on April 1. 2025 it works again, even if its quite slow (only 2-3 MB/sec)

On Febr. 3. 2025 redirectons (fake-links) prevent the connection to the final download-window of Youtube 4K Downloader. 2 or 3 weeks ago the downloader worked quite well and fast, even if i needed sometimes 2-3 retrials. I think its disruptive fire from Youtube ;-( or my adblocker

Using Chrome: on April 1. 2025 it works quite slow; You have to hit on share(the link) and copy/paste this into the download-screen, and than the download starts.

This seems to be the most functional YouTube Downloader extension available right now. The only downside is that instead of starting the download within the page, like you'd expect, it instead opens a new tab for youtube4kdownloader.com to download it from there. However, the download does then start automatically without you needing to do anything, so all you have to do is close the tab after it starts.
I'm no programmer, but it seems like it shouldn't be too difficult to make this download process all happen within the same page/tab. Otherwise, this is great.

works well and very convenient, but a bit slow, even when i am on very fast internet, i don't know why, likely on the way the video is transferred
